Furniture Delivery Driver

Job Description


Drive, deliver, and set-up merchandise at clients’ homes and apartments ensuring a fantastic Corporate Rentals experience.


Responsible for delivery trucks and merchandise on the trucks.

Delivery and set-up of furniture and housewares in clients’ homes or apartments.

Complete all paperwork.

May help with work orders as part of daily delivery route.

Responsible for delivery trucks and merchandise on the trucks.

May help unload freight trucks.

Responsible for the condition of truck and to write daily truck maintenance reports.

Supervises work of Delivery Helper.

Backup warehouse duties when not on a delivery.

May inspect and touch up merchandise prior to loading.

Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.

Job Requirements

Must be DOT qualified and keep all licenses and other required documents current.

Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.

Heavy lifting required – up to 100 pounds. May be required to carry heavy merchandise up stairs.

Must wear uniform and maintain personal appearance by following Corporate Rentals’ dress code requirements.

Must have and maintain a good driving record in accordance with Corporate Rentals policy.

Must be 21 years of age.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday.

Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
